How much Accent do I give my Horse?

You should use Accent as follows:

For Horses under 500 Lbs - 1/3 Scoop Once Daily, 500 Lbs to 1000 Lbs - ½ Scoop Once Daily, 1000 Lbs to 1500 Lbs - 2/3 Scoop Once Daily, 1500 Lbs to 2000 Lbs -1 Scoop Once Daily, Over 2000 Lbs -1 Heaping Scoop Once Daily.

NOTE: Double the dose during the first two weeks

However, should your horse not have access to a stall or stable during the long hot sunny days, you may want to double your daily amounts.

When will I see the results?

Results will be visible in 4 to 6 weeks. However, results will vary from horse to horse. This is due to other factors that play a role such as the amount of time the horse is exposed to the direct sun light. Shampoo, fly spray, and chlorinated water also effect the horses coat. Fly sheets and blankets trap moisture from sweat, which can also effect the quality of the coat.

For best results

Use Accent as directed. During the first 4 weeks brush out the horses coat as much as possible, once a day if possible. This will stimulate the growth of the new coat.
